Buyerframe is a Shopify app from Free Range Apps. This policy describes the data the app stores when a merchant installs it.

What we collect

Through Shopify's APIs we read catalog, product, and theme data needed to preview B2B pricing in the Theme Editor. We do not read Company objects, store-credit accounts, buyer contact details from Shopify, checkout data, or payment information. Catalogs attached to company locations are read with read_products.

On our servers we store:

Shopify OAuth sessions for merchant staff who open the app
Preview personas the merchant creates in the app (names, optional phones, addresses, and tax IDs the merchant types). These are QA records, not Shopify customers. If a merchant pastes a real buyer's details, that text is stored until uninstall or shop/redact. A customers/redact webhook deletes any persona that matches that customer's email or phone. A customers/data_requestwebhook emails matching personas to support@buyerframe.app so we can fulfill Shopify's mandatory data request.

Billing trial and subscription status for the shop (so a used free trial cannot be restarted by reinstalling)

Optional in-app feedback may include shop domain, shop name, and plan. Support messages go to email. Ideas and feedback may be filed as GitHub issues without the merchant's reply email. Messages are not written to the app database.

How we use it

Only to run Buyerframe: authenticate the merchant, preview catalog pricing, and restore preview state in the Theme Editor. We do not sell this data or use it for advertising.

Retention

Shop sessions, personas, and theme manifests are deleted when the app is uninstalled. Trial and plan records stay so a reinstall cannot restart a used free trial. All shop data, including billing records, is deleted when Shopify sends the mandatory shop/redact webhook.
